Paul Society
Back to Stewardship Page St.
Vincent de Paul is an international
Catholic organization of lay persons
founded in 1833 by Frederick Ozanam.
Under the patronage of St. Vincent
de Paul, the Society derives its
inspiration from his thinking and
work. It seeks, in a spirit of
justice and charity, and by
person-to-person involvements of its
members, to help those in need.
Vincentians gather in groups
traditionally called "Conferences"
at the parish level. Meetings
are held in a spirit of fraternity,
simplicity and Christian joy.
No work of charity is foreign to the
Society which is concerned not only
with relieving need but also with
addressing the situations that cause
it. For more information, please contact
the Parish Office.
Currently, the SVDP society is looking for
men 18 and older to join us in serving those in need. We are also looking for people to visit. If you or anyone you know might be interested in home visits or assistance from the SVDP society, or would like to become a member, please contact the Parish Office.
