| Parish Religious
Education Program (PREP - formerly
CCD)
Back to Stewardship Page The primary objective of the CCD classes is to provide children in grades 1 through 12 who attend public schools with a formal Catholic religious and spiritual formation program. Recognizing that parents are the primary religious educators of their children, parish volunteers work with the parents in this very important endeavor. Our CCD program also works with the parents in providing the celebrations of the sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation. To receive First Reconciliation and First Communion, two years of formal religious education is required. To be confirmed, six years of formal religious education is required. Classes are held on Sunday morning from 9:00am - 10:15am in the school when school is in session. There is a fee to help cover the cost of learning materials and special activities. To volunteer as a teacher or a teacher's aide, please contact the Parish Office
