Ministers

There
are three types of Eucharistic
Ministers. Contact the Parish
Office, if interested in any type.
Church: Ministers
serve the Lord and His people by
distributing the sacred Body and
Blood of Christ at Mass.
Ministers of Communion serve the
Body of Christ, the Church, as it
performs its most important work -
the Eucharist. Training is
provided prior to becoming a
Eucharistic Minister.
Home-Bound: Provided
by the pastor and trained
Eucharistic Ministers for those
unable to attend Mass.
Hospital: This is a
collaboration of local parish to
bring the Eucharist on a daily basis
to the patients at Ft. Hamilton
Hospital. St. Ann Parish is
responsible for Sundays every week.
Hospital Eucharistic Ministers are
schedule on a rotating basis.
Time involved is usually 1 to 1.5
hours This ministry can by
done individually or with a partner.
PICNIC
FOR ST. ANN EM’S AND LECTORS All of
the Extraordinary Eucharistic
Ministers and Lectors from St. Ann,
along with all of their family and
friends, are invited to a picnic at
Joyce Park on Sunday, Sept. 14, at 2
p.m. If your last name begins with
A-I, please bring a main dish to
share. If your last name begins with
J-R, please bring a side dish to
share. If your last name begins with
S-Z, please bring a dessert. We look
forward to seeing you there!
